Version changes:

Version 2.5:

The polar plotting has been change to the polar map form used in Audio Transducers.  There is a scroll bar on the right side of the plotting form that changes the psi polar plane.  The inductance of the voice coil uses the model of Leach as described in JAES Vol.50 #6 "Loudspeaker Voice-Coil Inductance Losses".  The driver analyzer and designer have been rewritten to correct some deficiencies.  The program is much more stable than ever before due to more thorough testing.

Version 2.4:

Modified the driver designer/analyzer (BETA) and linear parameter inputting.  Added Waveguide designer.  Polar averaging in polar and standard SPL plots. Redesigned database interface for more stability and planned change to ADO (next-generation database engine).  Multiple GUI changes.

Version 2.2:

Added the driver designer (BETA).  Minor bug changes and database verification before running.  Database files can now be of any name in any directory.  Project files from previous versions are now updated automatically.

Version 2.1:

Mostly changes to the interaction of the databases.  This is to minimize the problems associated with Microsoft's continued changing of the Jet DB engine which causes new problems to arise which did not exist before.  The principle change was to the project form which has been know to be unstable at times.  The next release will eliminate the dependence on Jet which MS says is now obsolete and does not support (So why do they keep changing it!?).

Version 2.0:

Version 2.0 has a slightly different crossover structure than previous versions.  First, the polarity is changed in the Project file and no longer can the phase be reversed with a negative gain.  Second, only in bi-amp mode can each subsystem have a different active filter structure.  In non-bi-amped mode only the first subsystems active filter is used.  This allows for a global filter to all subsystems.  Passive components are used in either mode.
